NDIS Play therapy

Play therapy is a child-centred practice to assist children with their emotional development. Children who present with behavioral challenges learn to make sense of their lived experience and trauma through humanistic play.

Details:

Play therapy is an evidence based method of working with children that utilises play as the natural medium for children to learn and communicate.

Children are supported to express themselves, develop social and emotional skills and put into practice emotional regulation techniques which lead to behavioural changes, confidence, empathy and age appropriate development.

Play therapy is open for children with an NDIS plan and is delivered as a Program of Support, one hour a week over 8-12 weeks.

PlayAbility follows the NDIS price guide. Individual fees and charges will be outlined in each clients Service Agreement.
