PlayAbility has between 20-25 employees at any given time, across administration, family support, early childhood supports and therapy.
This team not only handle administration but are often the first point of call for accessing services. This includes asking for information from you so we can follow up with the best person to help you along your journey. Operations also includes staff who provide NDIS Plan Management.
Family Support team
This team deliver free and voluntary programs including supported playgroups, the toy library, and individual family support. Our staff includes a Social Worker, Teachers, Educators and assistants to ensure everyone has a positive experience, especially your children.
Early Childhood and Therapy Support
The largest team delivering services funded through participant NDIS plans. Our staff includes Speech Pathologists, Teachers (Early Childhood / Primary / Secondary), and people qualified in allied health professions with training and experience in early childhood development. This is why we call them all developmental specialists. We also have Therapy Assistants working under supervision, this includes people qualified as Allied Health Assistants and people who are close to completing a degree in an allied health field.
In time we will post photos and backgrounds for all these wonderful and dedicated people.
PlayAbility is supported by a volunteer management committee who meet each month to ensure the governance of the organisation meets required standards and everything flows according to our constitution and strategic goals.
If you would like to be a part of our committee please get in touch.
PlayAbility would also like to hear from any volunteers willing to help with fundraising and community engagement to raise awareness of the valuable work we do in our community.
