What is Early Intervention?
Early Childhood Intervention is a term used to describe a range of services designed to assist parents of young children with developmental concerns or delays, or diagnosed disabilities.
At PlayAbility, Early Intervention for children and their families aims to support the development of skills including social, communication, fine and gross motor and self care.
Our Early Intervention team includes specialist teachers, occupational therapists, speech pathologists and a psychologist With children younger than 7 years Early Intervention is presented in the Key Workers trans-disciplinary model.
As an NDIS provider PlayAbility is registered to provide Early Childhood Early Intervention (0-6 years), Therapeautic Supports (7+ years), Behaviour Support and Plan Management.
Most programs are presented in one-hour weekly visits to one of our two centres, home, day care centre or pre-school. Some programs are presented in small groups. Overall we aim to be flexible to the needs and goals of each family.
PlayAbility is an NDIS provider in the Bega Valley.
